Reading
Story of the week: Owl and Moon
BE SURE TO WRITE DOWN THE BOOKS YOU ARE READING AT HOME!!! If you haven’t reached 100- READ, READ READ!
Pizza party will be May 12 at 2:00 for all students who have read 100 books.

Writing
Author Study: We will be reading Skippyjon Jones books.
We will begin to learn how to write poetry. We will spend quite a while on this genre of writing.

Math-We will learn to exchange for quarters, half dollars, and dollars. We will also work on comparing values.

Religion- We will have a test over Chapter 9 on Wednesday, April 28. We will begin a unit on Baptism after that. See note in today’s folder!

Social Studies- We will be learning more about symbols of our Country, and we will work on our Country booklet.

SELL THOSE RAFFLE TICKETS!!!!

Treat day on Friday, April 30. Send $1.00 in a baggie with your child’s name on it. Thank goodness we are back to our regular schedule this week! I am very proud of how hard the students worked during testing. I’ve been exhausted, and I imagine they were too!

Please pray for all of the students making First Communion tomorrow, as well as the teens that will be going through Confirmation tonight. It’s such an exciting time for all of them!
