Spelling- pray, prom, frog, grab, from, trap Sight word: come

Reading- Story of the week: The Path on the Map
Everyone is doing so well in their reading groups. Most children are moving up a level!

Writing- Author Study this week: We will be reading Bible Stories this week. We are going to start working on guided writing this week, and move into independent writing.

Math- We will begin learning about graphing this week.

Religion- We are going to begin learning about the Rosary this week. We will learn about the mysteries of the Rosary and how to pray a Rosary.

Science- We are back to learning about animals this week.

Things of Note:

IC Church is holding a mission this next week on Sunday-Thursday at 7:00pm and will last about 1 hr and 15 min. There are also morning sessions after the 7am Mass. Here are the topics for each night:
Sunday: salvation
Monday: Jesus as Savior
Tuesday: Sin, reconciliation and healing
Wednesday: Eucharist
Thursday: Our Mission
Teachings will be held in English and in Spanish.

Homework each night: Read a book at home every night!!

Reading Review due by the following Friday.
