Reading
Story of the week: The Knee High Man
Keep reading at home each night and make sure your child is recording the book on his/her reading log! When everyone has read 100 books, we will have a pizza party!

Writing
Author Study: none- Valentine’s Day activities and books
We are working on making our sentences longer by adding how, when, who, and why.

Math: We will start a unit on measurement. This week, we will measure how long classroom objects are with a “teacher’s foot”, and with our own feet. We will also measure classroom objects with paper clips.

Religion: We will be learning how we become closer to God during worship- particularly during Mass.

Science: We are still learning about weather. This week we will learn about the 4 seasons.

Things of Note:
Our class raised $100 dollars to donate to the Sebastian County Humane Society in honor of Ms. Vogel!! Thank you to all parents who helped with this project!

Reading Review due on Friday.
