Becker Bunch News for February 2-6

Spelling- Mrs. Becker’s group: bike, hike, dime, mine, time, shine, drive, smile, strike, while
Mrs. Hamm’s group: trip, trim, trap, trot, trust
Sight word: name
Reading- We are working on what strategies we can use when we read so that we can help ourselves.
Writing- We are working on editing our stories for punctuation and spelling.
Math- We will be learning how to compare and order numbers. We will do some special activities for the 100th day of school.
Religion- We are learning how the Church serves.

Things of Note:
Tuesday, February 3, is an early out day. School is dismissed at 2:00.

Monday is the last day to bring in change for our Baby Bottle campaign for Heart to Heart Pregnancy Center.

Bring in a pair of new socks on Thursday to donate to charity!!!

The snow really messed up our learning schedule, so if this Becker Bunch News looks the same, it’s not your eyes!!! Next week we will be learning what we would have been learning last week when we were off!

Thursday will be Silly Sock/ Silly Hat/ Donate a new pair of socks for charity.

We had so much fun on the 100th day of school!! I will be putting a picture of us in our hats and glasses on the blog this weekend.
