Reading-We are working on listening to ourselves when we read to make sure that what we say matches the print in the book (looks right), and that it makes sense. If it doesn’t we are learning how to go back and fix it up and help ourselves when we get stuck.
Writing- We are still working on editing our writing. This week we will focus on punctuation and misspelled words.
Math- We will work to apply strategies we know to find the sum of addition problems.
Religion- We are learning about the Rosary, and the mysteries. We will be learning how to pray a rosary also.
Things of Note: Our class will be learning about the importance of voting this week, and we will hold a mock election for the next President.
I need your help! Please try to discuss proper mass behavior with your child! This will help me out greatly!
***Parents, please remember that the Reading Review sent home on Fridays is to be completed and returned by the following Friday. We have had several children not completing their homework. Thank you for your help!
