Spelling-dog, dot, got, get, had, him Sight word: is

Reading- Story of the week: Max the Cat I will begin reading assessments this week so I can put the children into reading groups.

Writing- Author Study this week: Tomie de Paola We are still working on leaving a space between words when we write. We are also learning about how to write a story that is fun to read.

Math- We are still working on addition this week. Please do flashcards every night.
Ch 1 Math test on Tuesday, August 31. Review will be sent home Monday- we will take test together for practice.

Religion- We will learn about the Blessed Trinity this week.
Science We will be learning about plants and their parts this week.
