Spelling- bat, big, cat, can, fat, fun Sight word: I

Reading-Story of the week: No story this week
I will begin reading assessments this week so I can put the children into reading groups.

Writing- We will work on leaving a space between words when we write.

Math- We will begin learning how to add two numbers together this week. Please work with flashcards at home to help your child learn their addition facts. These can be purchased at the Dollar store for $1.00.

Religion- We will finish working on Chapter 1 in our Religion book. We are learning about God’s love for us. We will take a test this week together next week. (no studying required- I am trying to get them used to how we take tests before I begin taking grades.)

Science- We will learn about classifying things by living and nonliving.

Things of Note: Individual pictures for K-3 on August 31- free dress- no uniforms this day!
