Spelling- We will be reviewing this week, and working on word sorts.

Reading- We are working hard in Reading! Keep practicing at home!
Writing- We will still be working on using descriptive words in our writing to make our writing more interesting. We are working on putting “tired” words (words we use too much) to bed, and replace them with more exciting words.
Math- We will continue to work on recognizing and counting money.
Religion- VIRTUS touching safety lessons

No School Friday, March 13

Stations of the Cross on Thursday, March 12, at 10:00 am in the church.

I hope each family attempt to attend Stations of the Cross at 6:00 pm on Fridays during Lent. There is a meal in the Parish Center after Stations of the Cross. The children who attend will receive 5 bonus points in religion.

Class pictures will be Tuesday, March 10. Students are to wear uniforms!!

The St. Patrick’s Day parade is on Saturday, March 14! If your child would like to be a part of the parade, they will need to dress in festive clothing and meet at the corner of 7th and North C to line up for the parade at 1:30.
The parade will start at 2:00, and your child may be picked up at the KFSM studio parking lot at 318 North 13 after the parade.
